In recognition of Made in Medina County Day, over 420 people toured 19 manufacturing plants on October 5 in Medina County. Fire-Dex hosted two tours showcasing the recent building expansion and insight into the successful business. Paul Rose, Medina City Council served as the guest elected official.
“Made in Medina County Day was created to continue the dialog about manufacturing in Medina County,” said Kathy Breitenbucher, economic developer for the Economic Development Corp. “Twenty-nine percent of our economic output and over $400 million in payroll is generated by the manufacturing industry in our county, and that’s very important because you can grow a manufacturing economy much further than a service-based one.
Fire-Dex is continuing to add talented staff to their growing organization. For further information, visit: www.firedex.com/employment.
