This year, we're recognized in a special category for the [Manufacturing Employee Growth Award](https://www.sbnonline.com/article/cascade-capital-corporation-2020-business-growth-awards/). “Despite this year’s challenges, we efficiently adapted by shifting all office staff members to remote positions, while simultaneously launching reusable [Isolation PPE](https://www.firedex.com/isolationppe/) for first responders and healthcare workers. This has helped in our efforts to continue growing and hiring new associates” states Steve Allison, “As we continue to expand, we stay true to our core values as a family owned business focused on serving those who serve. We’re extremely honored to have received the Cascade Capital Business Growth Award for the seventh time.” Since our origination in 1989, we've acquired four businesses, including Chieftain Manufacturing, [TECGEN PPE](https://www.firedex.com/tecgen51/), Darwood Manufacturing, and most recently, [Gear Wash](https://gearwash.com/). By 2018, we expanded our growing headquarters in Medina, Ohio, bringing 30 **PLUS** new jobs to the county!  While we continue to grow at an accelerated pace, we're still focused on providing an excellent work environment for our dedicated staff, and were also recognized this year with the [NorthCoast99 Best Workplaces award](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/fire-dex-recognized-as-one-of-northeast-ohios-99-best-workplaces-for-the-5th-year-0) for the fifth time!  Categorized: [Firefighting History and Culture](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/tag/firefighting-history-and-culture) [Previous](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/4-leading-causes-house-fires-2020-firefighting) [Next](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/fire-dex-grows-marketing-team-with-technology-specialist-julie-spragg) [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.firedex.com%2Fblog%2Fcascade-capital-growth-award-2020-fire-dex%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on LinkedIn](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/linkedin-24x24.png)](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.firedex.com%2Fblog%2Fcascade-capital-growth-award-2020-fire-dex%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.firedex.com%2Fblog%2Fcascade-capital-growth-award-2020-fire-dex%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.firedex.com%2Fblog%2Fcascade-capital-growth-award-2020-fire-dex%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ### Leave a Reply ### Recent Posts ### CATEGORIES -
