With all of his achievements, you would never guess Monty Boeke, Distributor Sales Representative at Danko Emergency Equipment Co., has only been selling Fire-Dex for 14 months! His impressive improvement, commitment to the Fire-Dex mission and steady growth have qualified him for recognition as our May DSR of the month.

Since 1978, Monty has been actively involved with Hubbard Fire Department, one of Iowa’s best-trained volunteer departments. He has held many titles at the department, including Firefigher 2, Pump Operator, High Angle Rope Rescue Technician, and Safety and Training Officer. In 2006, Monty’s crew put their complete faith in his ability to lead, voting him into the role of Chief.

As an active part of the community, Monty has spent many years serving on the Quadco & Hubbard Golf Course boards, participating in the local church council and acting as president for the Hubbard Chamber. He and his wife of 40 years, Karen, have three wonderful children who blessed them with 5 grandbabies -- plus, a 6^th is on the way!
