DSR of the Month: Scott Compton of ROI Fire and Ballistics

Scott Compton of ROI Fire & Ballistics has been busy introducing Fire-Dex gear to the departments nestled in the mountain and ski towns of Colorado. During his time there, he's been successful in introducing our I2H Integrated Class II Harness to departments who complete high angle rescues. With 25 years in the volunteer fire department of New York, and 15 of those years selling turnout gear, Scott feels a part of the Fire-Dex Family.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Scott moved to Parker, Colorado in 2017. 20 years prior to his move, he fell in love with the Colorado landscape during a visit, and knew he would move there someday. He was quick to mention that he especially enjoyed visiting the areas near Aspen where he could pursue his love of snowmobiling during his down time.

"With all the research that has been done recently for firefighter health, safety and exposure risks, I feel fortunate to carry the Fire-Dex brand. They are constantly doing research and upgrading their product line, with firefighter safety and comfort taking the highest priority."
