This is the second ISP we've acquired after purchasing [Gear Wash](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/fire-dex-acquires-gear-wash-a-milwaukee-based-clean-repair-facility) in 2019. This acquisition will continue to expand our efforts to provide [NFPA 1851](https://gearwash.com/nfpa1851/) PPE clean and repair maintenance to mitigate contamination exposure risks and keep first responders safe. Done Right Fire Gear will be rebranded under the [Gear Wash](https://gearwash.com/) name and act as a second location for the expanding business.  “Being a former firefighter, I find comfort in knowing that Fire-Dex is a family owned business that will continue to ensure the safety of all first responders within the fire service industry,” states Pat Gansert, founder of Done Right Fire Gear, “We’re excited to join the Fire-Dex and Gear Wash family as we look towards a bright future together.” “We are thrilled about this new growth opportunity for both Fire-Dex and Gear Wash,” states Taylor Burke Gilman, Division Manager at Gear Wash, “I am looking forward to providing top-of-the-line clean and repair services within this new market. The Done Right team will be a fantastic addition to the Fire-Dex family.” As a family-owned and operated business, Done Right Fire Gear brings over 23 years of PPE clean and repair experience, operating in an 8,600 square foot facility with a 14-member team. The business also offers on-site clean and repair services with the addition of an 18-wheeler semi-truck. “With the unmatched commitment, reliability, and quality from Fire-Dex, we will begin reaching new levels of service for first responders,” said Teri Gansert, CEO of Done Right Fire Gear, “I’m confident this is the right direction towards a successful future for the Done Right team, and I know our associates will be in good hands.”  Each year we continue to thrive by expanding our strong workforce, obtaining prestigious awards, and acquiring popular brands such as Chieftain in 2008, TECGEN in 2015, Gear Wash in 2019, and now Done Right Fire Gear.
