“The Palmetto State Chapter is grateful for the generosity of corporations like Fire-Dex, who adopt a belief in our cause,” said Jeff Morris, President for Folds of Honor, Palmetto State Chapter, “As a 501(C)(3), we rely heavily on the support we receive to better the lives of spouses and dependents that have already lost too much.”
“Family is the core of Fire-Dex,” states Steve Allison, President of Fire-Dex, “Whether true or extended, family gives us strength to get through some of the most trying times. In the spirit of giving this holiday season, we wanted to give to families who need it most.”Fire-Dex’s contribution was generated through a Veterans Day promotion which gifted 11 pairs of structural firefighting gloves, at no extra cost, for every 100 pair of gloves sold through November 22. In addition, for each 111 pair order, Fire-Dex agreed to donate $111 to Folds of Honor on Giving Tuesday. After 2,200 gloves sold during the promotion, their $111 per order donation totaled $2,442, which Fire-Dex increased totaling their contribution to $2,500.
“We are thankful for our customers who participated in this promotion,” said Allison. “It is a great honor to contribute to an organization that values the sacrifice of America’s heroes, while giving hope to the bearers of their legacy.”To learn more about the Folds of Honor and how to donate, visit https://palmettostate.foldsofhonor.org/.
