We just keep growing with the addition of three new associates! We're continuing to seek new talent as we experience tremendous growth while strengthening corporate culture among our team members.
Kelsey McKinley, Contract Administrator, Holly Banos, Territory Sales Representative, and Dan Maynard, Supply Chain Coordinator, have all onboarded in recent weeks.
"We’re very excited to welcome Kelsey, Holly, and Dan to the Fire-Dex Family,” states Jamie Marks, Human Resources Manager. “Becoming a virtual-first company has allowed us to broaden our reach and recruit more talent across the United States, allowing us to provide more first responders with life-saving PPE.”
Being a family business with two women leaders (Lauren DeVere, President of Fire-Dex, and Taylor Gilman, President of Gear Wash), it is important for us to acknowledge that corporate culture is changing. Over the past few years, Lauren and Taylor have invested significant time and resources to provide associates with a sought-after culture that not only attracts but also retains top talent.
These efforts include a virtual-first culture, allowing remote work across the country; core meeting hours and a no meeting day; a new paid maternity and paternity leave policy; encouragement of work/life balance, and more.
“Part of my goal as President of Fire-Dex is to continually make the company more family focused and encourage changes our associates can rally behind and feel supported by,” states DeVere. “I am proud that we are able to offer these benefits to our team members and hope it becomes the norm in today’s society. We’re always looking for ways to better our workplace and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Fire-Dex.”
