Get to Know Guy!

Guy joined Fire-Dex in 2022 as Human Resources Business Partner. He is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and being the point person for HR at our Pelham, GA location. 

What are 3 things people don't know about you and may be surprised to learn?

1. As a kid, I lived in Nassau, Bahamas for 5 years due to my father working for U.S. Customs. 
2. I played soccer in high school. 
3. I attended Game 6 of the 1995 World Series when the Atlanta Braves won the championship over the Cleveland Indians. 
   
   

What is the coolest thing about your job and why? 

The coolest thing about my job is helping associates take advantage of the benefits that Fire-Dex offers to help themselves and their families.

What is your #1 recommended TV show or movie? 

I really enjoy the Chicago series (especially Chicago Fire 🔥). 
My all time favorite movie is The Goonies.

How do you relax in the evenings or on the weekends? 

I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family.

Imagine you could step in a teleport for the day and go to any place and time in history. Where and when would you travel to? 

I would travel back in time to be able to have a conversation with Walt Disney. 

What's the craziest thing you've ever done? 

I jumped off of a cliff into a blue hole in the Bahamas. 🌴

What's your favorite family tradition?

Taking family vacations. 

If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? 

A sloth.  They seem to have no cares in the world.

What's something you want to do in the next year that you've never done before?

Go to a South Carolina Gamecock Football Home Game at Night.

If you could live anywhere on this planet, where would you choose to live?

St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands
