Lauren joined the Fire-Dex family in April 2019 as an addition to our METRO sales team where she covers the United States and Canada. She previously spent 7 years in sales in the staffing and recruiting industry, then decided to join the family business where she works alongside her father (Bill Burke, CEO) and sister (Taylor Burke Gilman, Customer Relations Manager). What are 3 things people don’t know about you and may be surprised to learn?
- I can't go to sleep without hitting 10,000 steps.
- I could only eat seafood for the rest of my life.
- Fall is my favorite season because I love football, pumpkin everything and cooler weather.
What is your favorite thing about your job and why?
I love getting to work alongside my family!!
You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick?
No one wants me to sing karaoke, trust me... But if I absolutely HAD to I’d sing Wagon Wheel.
Have you been anywhere recently for the first time?
We recently went to Ireland and it was amazing! We went to Dublin, Kinsale, Killarney, Dingle and the Ashford Castle! Add the Ashford Castle & The School of Falconry to your bucket list!!

How do you relax after a hard day of work or on the weekends?
Either a workout at Orange Theory Fitness or a glass of wine on our back patio.

Stone crab claws!!!!
If you could bring back ANY fashion trend, what would it be?
Headbands! But I think I’m in luck because they’re coming back😉
What's something you want to do in the next year that you've never done before?
Become a Mom!💙💙
What's your favorite family tradition?
Drinking hot chocolate and driving around looking at Christmas lights!
If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be?
Cooking! I’m so terrible and would love to be able to make dinner every night... Thank goodness I have my husband, Aaron! :)
