Get to Know Liz!

Liz joined Fire-Dex in December 2022 as our Finance Manager. In her role, Liz is responsible for accounting and financial analysis with a heavy focus on our Gear Wash locations, including day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and forecasting.

She graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Accounting and an MBA from John Carroll University. She started her career in public accounting as an auditor before eventually joining Fire-Dex.

What are 3 things people don't know about you and may be surprised to learn?

1. I have a 7 month old nephew named Sebastian. 
2. When I was in school, I worked part time for the Cleveland Cavaliers. During the 2017 Finals, they sent us to San Francisco for game 2.
3. My family dog that I grew up with is almost 15 years old! She currently lives a life of luxury at my parent's house. 

Where have you traveled for the first time recently? 

When I was in college, I lived in a house with 7 roommates. After we graduated we moved all over the country, so once a year we go on a trip somewhere together. This past year we went to Charleston!

If you could live inside a TV show or book, which would it be and why? 

Seinfeld because every day would be entertaining being friends with George Costanza and Kramer. 

What is the #1 binge-worthy TV show or movie you always recommend? 

Shark Tank - I'm taking any deal from Mark Cuban! 

What's your favorite caffeinated beverage to keep you energized? Coffee? Tea? Soda? 

Coffee. ☕

What is your favorite way of relaxing on the weekends or evening? 

Spending time with friends and family! This past summer my friends and I joined a kickball league (we lost every single game 😅). 

If you were a wrestler, what would your entrance theme song be? 

When It Rains It Pours by Luke Combs. 

If you could learn a new skill in an instant, what would it be and why? 

Speaking a second language! My mom grew up speaking English and Slovenian so it has always been something I want to learn.
