Rose joined Fire-Dex in January of 2017 as Customer Service Representative. Her territories include Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. Before Fire-Dex she held another Customer Service Rep position then became a caregiver for her mom. Learn more about Rose below in her Q&A.

What are some things people don’t know about you and may be surprised to learn?

I love to sing, not good, but I sing all the time. I'm a pretty good cook.

What is the coolest thing about your job and why?
Other than my co-workers whom I adore, I like going over the specs, making sure they are correct. I'm very detail oriented and I can spot mistakes pretty quickly.


Have you been anywhere recently for the first time?
My daughters and I went to Universal Studios last summer.


What show are you currently binge watching?
Ozark. I watched it once and started watching it again.


What's the best advice you've ever received?
Everything happens for a reason.

How do you relax after a hard day of work or on the weekends?
Absolute and cranberry :) Taking my doggies for a walk or gardening.

What's the craziest thing you've ever done?

Spent the night in front of May Company, waiting in a line to buy Van Halen tickets. This was before you could buy tickets online.

Imagine you could step in a teleport for a day and go to any place and time in history. Where and when would you travel to?
I'd go back to a time in my childhood when my parents were young and healthy.

What's your favorite family tradition?

Making coquito with my daughters. Coquito is a Puerto Rican eggnog that is made from coconuts, spices and rum, very delicious. We sell it at Christmas time.

If you had to eat one meal everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza.

What's your favorite happy hour drink?

Absolute and cranberry. It's my go to drink for my happy and unhappy hours.

What is your spirit animal and why?

Chihuahuas. Because I have two bad ones and they eat at my spirit everyday.

What's your favorite movie and why? (yes, you can only pick one!)

Diary of a Mad Black Woman. I like this movie because the woman gets revenge on the man that hurt her and she gets a new guy that treats her with love.

What is your favorite song to "bust a move" to?

I love to dance so any song with a rhythm will do but my favorite is the Electric Slide. "It's electric."

If you had to delete all but 3 apps on your phone, what would you keep?

Candy Crush, Netflix and Facebook.

Where is your dream vacation spot?

One of the Polynesian Islands like Tahiti or Bora Bora.

What irrational fear do you have?

Heights, I don't like Ferris wheels or skyscrapers.

What is your most used emoji?

The LOL emoji.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be?

Culinary Arts, I'm a good cook but I'm not good at the art of cooking and it is an art.
