Learn About Shannon! 

Shannon graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors in Communication and a minor in Spanish. She even received a certificate in Public Relations! She began her career in the nonprofit world as a Communications Specialist, and has spent time marketing for nonprofits, SaaS, consumer goods and the manufacturing industry. With her wealth of experience in email marketing, event planning, content creation, writing, and so much more, Shannon has become an integral part of our marketing team! 👏

Have you been anywhere recently for the first time?

Denver, Colorado. It was my first time out west (other than California), and it was amazing. The mountains were breathtaking! 🏔️

What is your #1 recommended TV Show or movie?

The Queen's Gambit on Netflix. 

What sport would you compete in if you were in the Olympics?

Gymnastics. It is my favorite Olympic sport to watch. They are so strong and all the different competitions are so interesting and unique. 

What's the best advice you've ever received?

My mom has always told me to be an advocate for myself, even from a young age. I think this has formed me to be proactive and independent. She always encourages me to ask questions and rely on myself to get things done. This one piece of advice has made me who I am today. 

How do you relax in the evenings or on the weekends?

Have a glass of white wine or Rose, hang out with my cats, binge my latest TV show, workout at OrangeTheory, or read a good book by the pool.

If you had to eat one meal everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Pasta. There are endless combinations so I'd never get sick of it. 🍝

What's your favorite happy hour drink?

That depends on my mood. 

• Wine - Pinot Grigio, Rose or Sauvignon Blanc
• Beer - a subtle IPA
• Cocktail - Tito's, club soda, and lime

If you could be any animal what would it be and why?

A cat. They have the best lives. Sleep all day, eat and get pets by their humans! 🐱

How would your friends describe you?

My friends would definitely describe me as loyal, a good listener and secret-keeper. 

How do you take your coffee?

My Starbucks order is an iced coffee with almond milk and classic. I drink iced coffee year-round, even when it's freezing out.
