Announces Fire-Dex as a New Line for Turnout Gear [Apr](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/archive/2020/04/) [02](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/archive/2020/04/02/), [2020](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/archive/2020/) This just in! Shipman’s Fire Equipment Co., a Connecticut-based distributor of first responder safety equipment, announced today their plans to begin offering our structural turnout gear to their customers.   Shipman’s, located at 172 Cross Road, Waterford, CT 06385, has served municipal and volunteer fire departments, businesses, and industries in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and southern Massachusetts. The business continuously strives to improve its offerings to meet the demands of the fire service industry, and is excited for the opportunity to help us in serving customers with top-of-the-line turnout gear.  “Shipman’s is proud to be a part of the Fire-Dex family, now that we are the exclusive full-line distributor of Fire-Dex PPE in Connecticut and Rhode Island,” said Christina Wallace, Marketing Manager at Shipman’s Fire Equipment. “It is exciting to work with another family-owned and operated business that understands how important it is to properly protect and serve first responders, by offering advanced, top-quality products. We look forward to sharing all that Fire-Dex has to offer with our customers!”  Shipman’s previously offered accessory products, EMS, USAR, and wildland firefighting apparel from our company. This strengthened partnership now allows Shipman’s to offer the full scope of our product apparel for first responders including: - Structural turnout gear - Our exclusive (and game changing) [TECGEN71](https://www.firedex.com/tecgen71) outer shell, and - The [Interceptor Package](https://www.firedex.com/interceptorpackage/), which offers three products in a discounted bundle to protect against heat stress and carcinogen exposure As both family-owned and operated businesses, we share a common mission to be the provider of choice for health and safety-focused personal protective equipment (PPE). This partnership further iterates our excitement and drive to enact positive change within the fire service industry.  “Knowing the personnel from Shipman’s for over a year, I have seen the commitment and knowledge that they bring to the Emergency Response field,” stated Scott Wilkinson, Regional Sales Manager for Fire-Dex. “They have full commitment in coverage in Connecticut and Rhode Island with nearly 100% of the Sales Team either in or has been in the firefighting field. We are very excited to join the premier line-up of manufactures that Shipman’s represents.” Categorized: [Firefighting History and Culture](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/tag/firefighting-history-and-culture) [Previous](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/10-great-traits-firefighters-have) [Next](https://blog.firedex.com/blog/fire-dex-starts-production-of-isolation-ppe-covid-19-pandemic) [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.firedex.com%2Fblog%2Fshipmans-fire-equipment-co.-announces-fire-dex-as-a-new-line-for-turnout-gear%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on LinkedIn](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/linkedin-24x24.png)](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.firedex.com%2Fblog%2Fshipmans-fire-equipment-co.-announces-fire-dex-as-a-new-line-for-turnout-gear%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.firedex.com%2Fblog%2Fshipmans-fire-equipment-co.-announces-fire-dex-as-a-new-line-for-turnout-gear%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.firedex.com%2Fblog%2Fshipmans-fire-equipment-co.-announces-fire-dex-as-a-new-line-for-turnout-gear%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ### Leave a Reply ### Recent Posts ### CATEGORIES -
