While International Women’s Day is a great time to celebrate the accomplishments of female firefighters, Fire-Dex remains committed to serving women all year. 

April Moore, Plant Manager of Fire-Dex in Medina, Ohio, has been with the company for 14 years. April started with Fire-Dex as a sewing associate on the pant team in 2011. She had no experience—and children who needed to be cared for. 

It’s rare to find an individual who has been at the same job for nearly two decades. It’s even rarer to find someone who has been at their job for that long and still loves it—but that is the story of Michelle Guthrie.
