Harold the Fireman

Since his Fireman debut in 1948, Harold has been a Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade favorite, going through several redesigns throughout the years. Harold was not always a Fireman. In his past life, Harold floated down the street in 1945 as a Clown, 1946 as a Baseball Player, and 1947 as a Policeman.

At a height of 32 feet and a fireman's cap measuring 45 feet in circumference, Harold is the perfect size to salute the city’s finest this Thanksgiving day.

Will you be watching the parade?
