The Fire-Dex team just wrapped up another incredible FDIC in Indianapolis. From new product launches to large giveaways to meeting face-to-face with some of our heroes, it was a great week of connection and learning.
A major theme of this year’s conference was preparedness. In their keynote speeches, Chief Scott Thompson of The Colony, Texas and Chief Jason Hoevelmann of Florissant Valley, Missouri both stressed the importance of being prepared for whatever comes your way.
Fighting fires isn’t just about the moment, it’s about the moments leading up to that crucial decision that could save lives.
At Fire-Dex, we really resonated with message. At our booth, we featured some of our latest product innovations, the FDXL90 and our AeroFlexTM line of turnout gear. Both of these launches are designed to give you greater flexibility on every call so that you can be prepared for every situation.
We also featured Dex-Pro and Dex-Rescue Gloves, particulate blocking hoods, FDXL200 Red Leather Boots, EMS gear, Wildland attire, USAR garments, TECGEN51 Fatigues and turnout gear.
And speaking of turnout gear, we once again featured some of metro specification gear. This gear demonstrates just how many ways our turnouts can be customized to fit every need. We featured gear from 17 metros:
- LA City
- LA County
- Memphis
- Orange County
- San Antonio
- Cobb County
- Miami
- Charlotte
- Sac Metro
- Horry County
- Pasco County
- Tampa
- Las Vegas
- Shreveport
- Osceola County
- El Paso
- Chattanooga
We also featured a spec for our friends at Fire Department Coffee. They happened to stop by our booth for a giveaway! Jason Patton stood over a large crowd and announced the winners of two sets of our AeroFlexTM gear. Congratulations to Morehead City Fire Department!
Fire Department Coffee was also on hand for our annual customer appreciation event at Crane Bay Event Center. We had a great time meeting and mingling with hundreds of guests—not to mention how much fun we had with the photo booth!
All in all, FDIC 2024 was a great time to meet new people, connect with old friends, and learn new things. But most of all, it was a great reminder of our mission: To serve those who serve.
We can’t wait to see you all at FDIC 2025!
